Drunken Indigenous Australian
October 30, 2006So I’m driving tonight after having a nice meal with my family as I see this dark thing in the distance… As I come closer I notice it is a man stumbling around the road in front of oncoming traffic.
I slow down and the man who I now get a closer look at what appears to be an Indigenous Australian, he proceeds to collapses in front of my car, I ask the assistance of another bystander who had also pulled up if he could help me get this gentleman off the road.
I said to the Indigenous Australian prior to coming up to him “Are you okay brother?” (Trying to use the “lingo”). He seemed extremely drunk and of no threat.
We dragged this sweaty smelly drunk thing to the side of the road, the gutter if you will. And I continued on my way.
I came home and washed the stink and filth that is the common drunk Indigenous Australian off my body.
Remember getting drunk is fine, just don’t get so drunk you can’t cross roads.
