There are always a few people around in every workplace or group that walk around like they have a pole shoved up their ass.
These “Pole up your ass syndrome” people I speak of always seem to have the following traits:
1. They walk around like they literally have a big piece of steel shoved up their ass.
2. They look down their nose at you like you are nothing but pond scum placed on this earth to serve their every command.
3. Manners and common politeness don’t apply when talking to someone that they believe are “below them”.
4. You are wrong, even when you are right.
5. They are normally falsely put in charge of something or some group of people.
Personally I think that the best managers or leaders are the ones that have been where you are as an employee or member of a group, they have done the real work and have an idea as to what is going on.
Most people without this particular knowledge have just been thrown into the job or role out of sheer luck or perhaps after blowing a superior…
Maybe there is a logical explanation as to why they walk as if they have something shoved up their ass…
