So whilst surfing the net I stumbled across a website which advocates inter-family marriages… It is called “Cousin Couples – Support for Kissing Cousins” (www.cousincouples.com).
This website is and I quote “The world’s primary information and support network for and about romantic relationships among cousins.”
Next time I come across someone who is/wants to/is currently perusing a relationship within their family I’ll be sure to point them to this site…
For most people the main starting point in a relationship is physical attraction then after that an emotional/mental attraction, so the main deal breaker for me would be being attracted to a family member to begin with… It just seems and feels wrong to me…
Cousin Couples doesn’t seem too bad though in comparison with Brother-Sister Couples though… A study conducted by Floyd Martinson found that 10-15% of college students had sexual experiences with a brother or sister, however only 5-10% of those sexual experiences included intercourse.
So there you have it; it’s possible that over one in twenty people you meet have had “relations” their own siblings… excuse the pun…
